One city simply prohibited brand brand new propane hookups to truly save the earth. Could Philly follow suit?
The war on gas is escalating.
Berkeley, Calif., the Bay Area town understood for the modern politics, has prohibited the usage of propane generally in most new buildings.
Environmentalists state it will be the city that is first enact this type of prohibition. San Jose, bay area, and lots of other Ca municipalities are reported to be considering similar bans in the battle against worldwide warming.

The unanimous vote by the Berkeley City Council can be a harbinger of a more substantial change in a few states to push US customers far from gas, a cleaner-burning fossil fuel who has helped reduce carbon emissions by displacing coal in electric-power generation. But environment advocates state the large-scale change to gasoline is slowing straight down the transition to renewable power, and threatens to undermine carbon-free nuclear energy.
